Structure:
Frame: The frame of a modular cleanroom is typically constructed using high-quality materials such as stainless steel or aluminum alloy. Stainless steel offers corrosion resistance and high strength, while aluminum alloy is known for its ease of installation and an attractive appearance.
Ceiling: The ceiling is often made of lightweight materials like aluminum plastic panels, which are convenient to install.
Walls: The wall materials can vary. Transparent acrylic panels are strong and relatively inexpensive. Anti-static acrylic panels have a surface with anti-static properties, making them suitable for cleanrooms where an electrostatic-free environment is required for the process. Color steel plates are used for their dust-proof and durable characteristics.
Fan Filter Units (FFU): FFUs are a crucial component of the modular cleanroom. They use high-quality, energy-efficient, and low-noise fans, or customer-specified brands like German EBM. The outer casing of the FFU is usually made of galvanized aluminum or stainless steel.
Control System: The control system, often developed by the manufacturer, is responsible for uniformly controlling the FFU to regulate air speed, pressure difference, and temperature and humidity (if an air conditioning system is配套). This helps maintain a stable and controlled cleanroom environment.
Doors and Windows: Cleanroom doors and windows are designed to seal tightly to prevent the ingress of contaminants. They may also have specific features such as smooth surfaces and easy operation.
Filters: High-efficiency or ultra-high-efficiency filters are installed to remove particles and contaminants from the air, ensuring a high level of cleanliness within the cleanroom.
Utilities and Services: Provisions for electrical wiring, lighting, and other necessary utilities are integrated into the structure. Additionally, there may be options for installing monitoring systems to keep track of environmental parameters.
The modular design of these cleanrooms offers several advantages. They can be easily assembled, disassembled, and relocated, providing flexibility in facility layout changes. Compared to traditional cleanroom construction, they can be produced and set up in a shorter time and at a lower cost. Moreover, they are free-standing structures and do not necessarily require attachment to the roof. The ability to customize the size, layout, and cleanroom class according to specific needs makes them suitable for a wide range of applications in industries such as electronics, semiconductors, biopharmaceuticals, food, and more.
